Innomark Recognized for Print Excellence

Innomark is proud to announce that its print division was recently awarded eight 2023 Print Excellence Awards by Graphic Media Alliance.  Each year, Graphic Media Alliance holds its Print Excellence Awards competition to recognize Ohio, Michigan, and northern Kentucky printers who have demonstrated excellence in 36 categories.

New for 2023, Graphic Media Alliance introduced Greg Jovanovic (ColorArt, Eureka, MO) as a contest judge.  Greg’s extensive background in print production and quality control, combined with the expert knowledge of returning judge, Jeff Ekstein (Willow Printing Group, Ontario, Canada), ensured that each entry underwent careful review and deliberation.  The level of competition was so competitive that several categories required the judges to search for minor imperfections to determine a winner.  Both judges were highly impressed with the quality demonstrated in this year’s contest and look forward to participating in the 2024 competition.

Graphic Media Alliance President, Andrew Schall, noted several outstanding achievements for the 2023 Graphic Media Alliance Awards.  Most notably, both the number of entries and member participation have increased by over 50% from 2022.  This sets a six-year record for pieces entered, and all-time records for participating companies, and student submissions, with 21 members participating for the first time.

“The Print Excellence Awards showcase our finest offerings in Ohio, Michigan, and northern Kentucky, and this year did not disappoint.  As demonstrated in this year’s contest, our members continue to innovate, ensuring a bright future for our industry and our Association,” said Schall.

All of the Gold award winners in the regional competition are entered into an association-wide competition for Best of Category and Best of Show prizes that will be awarded in September at the 2023 Grand Ceremony.
