Western Digital had the opportunity to promote its solid-state drive (SSD) brands in Best Buy stores. The assignment was to design, engineer, and deliver a permanent end cap that would showcase all three brands, allow flexibility for future promotions, and enable shoppers to easily find the right SSD for their unique needs.
This solution combines modern design, interchangeable signage, durable materials, and multiple finishes to ensure both longevity and aesthetic appeal. It also balances key product features with benefit driven messaging to help each customer find the best possible fit.
This display was successful as part of a program that used consistent messaging to generate awareness, appeal to multiple target segments, and ultimately increase SSD sales in Best Buy stores. It was supported by omni-channel activities, such as influencer blogs, email blasts, review programs, and social media content.
